Former Scott Air Force Base employee pleads guilty to disclosing confidential information

A former Chief Project Manager at Scott Air Force has pleaded guilty to giving confidential government information to private companies.
According to US Attorney Donald Boyce, 60-year-old James Gillis gave businesses information that gave then an unfair advantage when bidding on government contracts. Gillis received baseball tickets and lunch in exchange for that information.
He faces up to five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and restitution.
