JACKSON COUNTY, IL. – One person has been killed in an overnight crash in Jackson County.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the single vehicle accident happened around 12:45am Monday on Route 4 near Lange Road, South of Campbell Hill.
Police say a dodge pickup ran off the road, becoming airborne for a short distance, ran through a field, finally stopping in a ditch.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name is being withheld pending family notification.
