John A Logan Men See 7-Game Win Streak Snapped

VINCENNES, Ind. – Vincennes took the lead at 3-2 and never looked back in defeating John A. Logan 93-79.
The Trailblazers, ranked 7th nationally, won for the 13th straight game to stand 23-1 on the season.  The only loss was to Logan on Dec. 80-73.
Chris Darrington was outstanding for Vincennes scoring 34 points including 13-16 from the free throw line.  Nate Hanson had 20 points while Isaiah Tisdale added 16.
Logan, 18-6, was led by Jaylen Perry with 28 points, Allen Billinger 14, and Chad Culbreath 10 despite fouling out with eight minutes to go.  Jerome Davis had 6 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.  The Volunteers who had a seven game win streak ended, rallied to within eight points twice in the final 10 minutes but could never get closer.
Next up for the Volunteers is Olney Central on Wednesday.  Tipoff is at 7:30 P.M.
