VINCENNES, Ind – The Vincennes women’s basketball team, ranked 23rd nationally, led all the way in defeating the John A. Logan Lad Vols 77-64.
Vincennes, 21-4, used superior height and the shooting of Lauren Pickett who had 25 points to claim their sixth straight win. Pickett had 18 of her 25 in the first half when the Trailblazers built a 39-29 halftime lead.
Logan got 23 points from Tiaunna Watkins, the nation’s 12th leading scorer at 19.5 points per game. Makayla Campbell had 14 points including 4-8 from three.
The Lady Vols next host Olney Central on Wednesday. Tip off is at 5 P.M.
