Five Perry County Sheriff’s Deputy’s will soon be looking for a job.
Sheriff Steve Bareis made the announcement that two full time and three part time officers will be laid off due to budget concerns.
Bareis, who filed for re-election Monday, will be taking a $6,000 pay cut himself.
He hopes to be able to re-hire the officers when the budget allows.
