One man is dead after a single vehicle crash in Franklin County.
It happened around 10:33 PM Tuesday just south of the intersection of routes 184 and 14.
In a news release, state police say that 42-year-old Ricky Knight of Sesser was driving north on 184 when he failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, hitting a culvert, and rolling his vehicle. Police say Knight was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.
He was taken from the scene to Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin where he was pronounced dead.
