An Anna man, on probation for stealing from a church, will spend the next three years in state prison after he spit on a police officer.
According to a press release from the Union County State’s Attorney’s Office, 29-year-old James Dukes spit on an Anna Police Officer after the officer arrested Dukes in July of 2017.
Dukes was convicted on count of Aggravated Battery and for violating his probation.
