Funeral arrangements have been made for Carlo Montemagno.
Montemagno, 62, was the chancellor at SIU-Carbondale. He died Thursday after a battle with cancer.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City.
Memorials can be made to “This Able Veteran,” at 1714 S. Wolf Creek Road, Carbondale.
A vigil was held at the school on Friday night in memory of the late chancellor.
