FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL. (WJPF) – The Franklin County Coroner’s Office has confirmed a fatality in a Wednesday night motorcycle crash.
According to a news release, 47-year-old Jason Call, of Makanda, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Route 37 south of West Frankfort.
Call was thrown from his bike and sustained head trauma. He was not wearing a helmet.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the accident.
