MT. VERNON, IL. (WJPF) — Police in Mt. Vernon are on the hunt for a bank robber.
According to police, the the Fifth Third Bank at 2711 Broadway was held up around 4:50 PM Monday. No one was injured during the incident.
Surveillance photos released by police show the suspect to be a white male with a goatee. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a white tee shirt, blue jeans, a camouflage jacket, and a black baseball cap.
