UNION COUNTY, IL. (WJPF) – Two adults and three children were injured in a single vehicle crash near Dongola.
It happened around 6:30 P.M. Tuesday on US 51.
According to State Police, 27-year-old Jimmy Lavern, of Mounds, left the road and hit a creek embankment head on.
Lavern along with 29-year-old Chanel Young and three children ages one, two, and three were taken to the hospital.
None of the occupants of the vehicle were wearing a seat belt.
