GRAND TOWER, IL. (WJPF) – A sixteen-year-old girl sustained serious injuries after she rolled her vehicle and submerged it in floodwater.
It happened around 10:00 PM Wednesday in Jackson County on Route 3 near Kings Ferry Road.
According to The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the driver was northbound on 3. As the vehicle approached Kings Ferry Road, it left the road and overturned, becoming almost completely submerged in a flooded field.
The driver was taken to a St Louis hospital for treatment.
