3 arrested, 75+ pounds of cannabis products seized after traffic stops in Johnson County

ULLIN, ILL. (WJPF) — A pair of traffic stops made by state troopers in Johnson County resulted in two arrests and over 75 pounds of cannabis products seized.
The first stop happened on June 13 on Interstate 24 after a Scott’s Law violation. A search of the vehicle turned up 23 pounds of cannabis and 100 grams of cannabis wax. The driver and a passenger, both California men, were arrested.
The second stop was on June 18, also on Interstate 24. A search of this vehicle found 44 pounds of cannabis and 9 ½ pounds of edibles. The driver, a North Carolina man, was also arrested.
All three men have had their bonds set at $25,000.
