3 sentenced in Williamson County court

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) — A Christopher man has been sentenced to three years in the department of corrections on a forgery charge.
41-year-old Randall Stanton pleaded guilty to the charge.
According to Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti, Santon used a forged check at a Carterville grocery store.
Stanton was also ordered to pay restitution.
The theft happened in June of 2019.

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) — A New Burnside man has pleaded guilty to a felony theft charge.
31-year-old Justin Keith will spend the next four years in the Department of Correction.
According to Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti, Keith drove off with a display motorcycle from Black Diamond Harley Davidson in Marion.
The theft happened in March of 2016.

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) — A Carbondale man will spend the next six years behind bars on a burglary charge.
22-year-old Jermaine Ross pleaded guilty.
According to Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti, Ross broke an office window at Goofy Golf in Marion and stole items from the property.
Ross was later found in possession of some of the stolen items. DNA testing of blood on the broken window also indicated a match to Ross’ blood.
The theft happened in September of 2017.
