ISP identify fatalities in Pope County head-on crash

POPE COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — Illinois State Police have identified the three people killed in an early Sunday morning head on crash in Pope County.
According to ISP, 27-year-old David Wasson of Harrisburg was the driver of a Dodge Charger that crossed the center-line of IL Route 34 and hit a limousine head-on. Wasson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The limousine driver, 39-year-old Jarret Bencie of Marion, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
42-year-old Kenny Webb of Marion was one of nine passengers in the limousine. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The eight remaining limousine passengers were taken to regional hospitals.
