Two arrested in Carbondale drive-by shooting

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Two arrests have been made in connection to a drive-by shooting that happened in broad daylight in Carbondale.
Carbondale Police say several shots were fired from a vehicle at a person who was walking in the 600 block of East Main Street around 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Tevin Kirby, 25,  and Alexsia Higgins, 23,  were taken into custody by police.
Kirby has been charged with aggravated and reckless discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
Higgins has been charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, child endangerment, and on an outstanding Jackson County warrant for assault.
Both were taken to the Jackson County Jail.
No injuries were reported.
