Community colleges to receive additional state funding

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WJPF) — Community colleges in southern Illinois will get a share of more than $100 million of additional state money.
John A Logan College will get $3.8 million to use for the construction of a two-story expansion of the west lobby building.
Rend Lake College will get the biggest share locally with $5.3 million for a new allied health building, including classrooms and labs.
Shawnee and Southeastern will get $2 million and $1.7 million respectively for campus upgrades.
