Scrubb recovering from foot surgery, NBA start delayed

Clippers guard and former John A. Logan star Jay Scrubb is recovering from foot surgery.  The 2020 Junior College Player of the Year had surgery last week to insert a screw in to his right foot, according to Andrew Greif of the LA Times
Recovery is expected to take between three and four months.
Scrubb was selected by the Clippers with the 55th pick in the NBA Draft on November 18th.

Scrubb signed his contract with the Clippers, a two-way contract, in late November and figures to spend time with the Clippers’ Ontario G-League team where he can develop.  The Clippers reportedly really like Scrubb’s explosive athleticism and hopes the surgery will be able to help him keep that athleticism rather than taking a step back due to injury.
