RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — A Percy man was hurt Saturday in a crash in Randolph County.
Illinois State Police say at about 4:10 p.m., Ryley Peak, 22, was traveling east on Illinois Route 150 when he attempted to pass another eastbound vehicle near Elsie Street. Peak’s vehicle left the road, hit a culvert and a tree.
Peak was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Peak was also issue citations for driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle, driving too fast for conditions, improper lane usage, and not wearing a seatbelt.
