U.S. Rep. Mary Miller votes “no” on awarding Congressional Gold Medals to Capitol Police

 
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WJPF) — U.S. Representative Mary Miller voted Tuesday against a bill to award the Congressional Gold Medal to U.S. Capitol Police and other law enforcement officers in recognition of their efforts during the January 6 attack on the Capitol.
Miller was one of 21 House Republicans who voted against the measure.
Representative Mike Bost voted in favor of awarding the medals. The bill passed the U.S. House.
