CARTER COUNTY, Mo. (WJPF) — A canoer has drowned on the Current River.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says David Robles, 82, of Los Angeles, California was swept away by a strong current near the Chilton Creek area. Police say he was pulled into a growth of tree roots and became entangled.
