Missouri fuel tax to go up

 
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (WJPF) — Missouri Governor Mike Parson is expected to sign legislation Tuesday raising the Show Me State’s fuel tax.
With Parson’s signature, Missouri’s fuel tax will go up by 2 ½ cents in October 2021, bringing the tax to 19 ½ cents per gallon. It will continue to go up by 2 ½ cents each year until it hits 29 ½ cents in July 2025.
Parson is expected to sign that legislation in Cape Girardeau.
