One hurt, vehicles damaged in Carbondale shooting

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Another dispute between known acquaintances led to shots being fired in Carbondale.
At about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to an area near the intersection of East Cindy and Wall Streets for a report of shots fired. One person received a non-life threatening gunshot wound and two parked vehicles were damaged.
Carbondale Police say Aarion Haskins, 22, of Carbondale ran from the scene, but was later arrested on a charge of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
