Graduate student Moyea Russell was named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week, the league accounted on Wednesday.
Russell helped lead Southern Illinois to a ninth place finish at the Hoover Invitational, firing rounds of 74, 73, and 74 for a total score of 221 (+5) to tie for eight place overall.
This is the second time receiving the weekly honor in her collegiate career.
