The Shawnee Community College Softball Program received a donation of $5000 Tuesday on the main campus of Shawnee Community College from City National Bank in Metropolis.
Coach Kyle Smith says the donation will be used to provide some much needed improvements on the softball field in preparation for the upcoming season.
