BELLE RIVE, Ill. (WJPF) – The victim of a weekend boating accident in Jefferson County has been identified.
James Likens, 66, died Sunday when the small boat he was in capsized on a remote pond in rural Belle Rive. Another person in the boat survived.
Likens was a maintenance worker and school bus driver at the Opdyke Belle Rive School District.
