GALLATIN COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – The sheriff and state’s attorney in Saline County say an investigation in neighboring Gallatin County has turned up stolen property, illegal guns, and drugs.
In a joint statement released Monday, Sheriff Whipper Johnson and State’s Attorney Molly Kasier say the investigation resulted in multiple felony charges, but haven’t revealed what the charges are or who has been charged. The joint statement also does not go into detail on the stolen property, guns, or drugs.
Johnson and Kasier say the investigation is ongoing.
