CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man was arrested early Monday morning breaking into a vehicle.
Police were called to a business in the 400 block of North Illinois Avenue at about 4:20 a.m. They say Carlos Phenix, 66, broke into the storage area of a company vehicle and took property from inside.
Phenix was arrested at the scene for burglary to a motor vehicle and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
