Multiple fires under investigation in West Frankfort

WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (WJPF) – Three fires Friday night in West Frankfort are being investigated for possible arson.
The busy night for firefighters started at about 6:50 pm when the West Frankfort Fire Department received calls about smoke coming from a home at 516 South Emma Street. The fire was contained within a few hours with no injuries reported. Firefighters left South Emma Street at about 10:10 p.m.
At about 10:30 p.m., West Frankfort fire crews were called out again; this time for a vehicle fire at 609 North Hughes Street. That fire was also put out without any injuries. 
At about the same time as firefighters were responding to the vehicle fire on North Hughes Street, they were called back to the home on South Emma Street. The structure was completely involved by the time firefighters arrived. firefighters left the scene at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Damage to two other residences and a vehicle were reported, but there were no injuries. 
The Illinois State Fire Marshal  is investigating all 3 fires.
