Saluki Athletics golf program will hold their annual Golf Scramble fundraiser on Friday, August 5 at Kokopelli Golf Club in Marion, Illinois. Lunch and registration starts at noon with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. CT. The public is invited to attend.

The price is $150 for an individual or $900 for a six person team. Sponsorship opportunities are available including hole sponsors, banner sponsors or corporate sponsors.
“Having the opportunity to do these things has helped us recruit high-level talent from all across the world, which has in return helped the men win the MVC in three of the last four seasons and be represented in the NCAA postseason in four of the last six seasons. The women’s team won the MVC in 2019 as well,” said SIU Director of Golf Justin Fetcho.
This fundraiser has previously enabled the golf program to play a tournament in Hawaii and compete in tournaments against teams ranked in the Top 10, as well as provide top-level equipment for the teams.
“The community’s support allows us to play a high performance tournament schedule and provide our student-athletes with an even better experience during their time here. We really appreciate your consideration in supporting our programs and continuing to help us stay successful not just within our conference but on a national level,” said Fetcho.
