Just in time for the start of the regular season, the John A. Logan Little Egypt Football Coaches Poll has been released! For the third consecutive year, the Marion Wildcats are the preseason favorites in the area, receiving 10 of 11 first place votes.
Nashville and Carterville are neck-and-neck in the race for the #2 and #3 spots.
We’ll see a top 5 match-up in Week 1 when#4 Murphysboro travels to #5 Carbondale Friday night.
#3 Carterville will also showdown with #6 Benton, who is tied with Fairfield for the #6 spot.
