Marion Wildcats retake #1 ranking in John A. Logan Little Egypt Football Coaches’ Poll

Despite a dominant 54-19 win at Du Quoin on Friday, the Carterville Lion slipped to #2 this week in favor of the Marion Wildcats who beat Cahokia 36-14.
Little movement happened in the poll this week otherwise.  Murphysboro bounced back with a 52-14 win at Massac County to break their tie with Nashville for the #5 ranking by just a point.
Carmi-White County and Harrisburg traded places at #8 and #9, respectively.
Benton’s 35-6 win over Herrin impressed voters enough to get them in at #10, bumping out Carbondale.
