The John A Logan SI Basketball Preseason Poll is out. The area’s basketball scene has no clear favorite with five separate teams receiving first place votes. Centralia walks in as the area favorite at #1 with the most first place votes and a slim three point lead on second-place Carterville.
Also receiving first place votes are #2 Carterville, #3 Herrin, #4 Pinckneyville, and #10 Teutopolis.
