After three full weeks of the boys’ basketball season, the#1 ranking in the John A. Logan College Coaches’ Poll goes to the Breese Central Cougars, who edge out last week’s #1, Herrin, in first place votes.
Massac County took the largest tumble of the week, falling from their three-way tie for third place last week to #7 after a loss at home to Murphysboro on Friday night.
Benton and Nashville are newcomers to the poll this week after being unranked last week. The Hornets managed to get in by tying for the #10 spot with Murphysboro.
