CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois baseball will alter its weekend schedule once again due to forecasted weather in the area. The Salukis and Kentucky will open their series on Friday at 3 p.m. with game two of the series now scheduled for noon on Saturday. The finale with the Wildcats has not changed and will begin at 1 p.m. from Itchy Jones Stadium.
The meeting with Kentucky this weekend will mark the second time in program history that UK has made the trek to Carbondale for a three-game series with the last time coming in April of 1980.
