CARBONDALE, Ill. — Weather will alter the weekend schedule once more for Southern Illinois baseball as heavy rain is forecasted on Friday. The Salukis and UIC will now open Missouri Valley Conference action on Saturday with a doubleheader slated to begin at noon with game two beginning approximately 45 minutes after. Sunday’s game is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch.
All three games are scheduled to air on ESPN Plus. Saluki Hall-of-Famer Mike Reis will have the call on SIUSalukis.com, the “Salukis” Mobile App on the App Store or Google Play Store, as well as the Varsity Sports Network App.
