Thursday afternoon, Saluki men’s basketball redshirt freshman sharpshooter Foster Wonders announced he has entered his name in to the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Wonders appeared in 24 games this past season with an average of 7.3 minutes per game. He came to SIU heralded as a big-time three-point threat but failed to make a big difference for the Salukis this season from beyond the arc, shooting 34.7%.
The Iron Mountains, Michigan native averaged 2.6 points, 0.5 rebounds, and 0.5 assists during the 2022-23 season. He is the fourth Saluki to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal this offseason.
