Former Carterville Lion Luke Ford received an invite to the New York Jets’ mini-camp on Monday.
The Illinois tight end caught 27 passes in 32 games with the Fighting Illini for 217 yards and two touchdowns in his three seasons in Champaign.
Before the 2022-23 season, Ford signed an NIL deal with WWE, giving him a pathway to the world of professional wrestling should his opportunity with the NFL not work out.
