CARBONDALE, Ill. — Saluki fans have a brand-new, low-cost option to experience all of the home games during the upcoming 2023-24 season — PawPass.
For a limited time, fans can enroll in PawPass, a “Netflix-like” 12-month ticket-subscription plan that guarantees a ticket to every home men’s basketball, football and women’s basketball game next season. The price is just $14.99 per month ($179.88 per year), or roughly five dollars per game.
“PawPass offers fans an unbeatable price point to attend Division I college sporting events,” said SIU Director of Athletics Tim Leonard. “We believe PawPass will resonate with the budget-minded fan looking to stretch their entertainment dollar.”
Fans who subscribe to PawPass will receive digital tickets in their accounts, and seat locations will be selected by the ticket office, based on available inventory throughout Saluki Stadium and the Banterra Center.
“PawPass is is an entry point into our season ticket packages,” Leonard said. “In the future, subscribers could decide to invest in one of our more traditional season-ticket offerings that includes premium seating, reserved parking or club access.”
Looking ahead to next basketball season, Leonard said there are several attractive non-conference home games that potentially could sell-out, including a men’s basketball matchup versus Oklahoma State. The Cowboys will be the first Power Five opponent to visit the Banterra Center during the regular season since Indiana in 2007.
“We expect the Oklahoma State game, in particular, to be in high demand, and PawPass guarantees you a seat at the game,” Leonard said.
The 2023 football schedule was announced in March and includes a marquee Homecoming matchup versus South Dakota State, the defending FCS National Champion. The 2023-24 men’s and women’s basketball schedules are expected to be finalized in late August.
As an added incentive, fans who subscribe to PawPass during the month of May will receive a free, Grey Dawg bobblehead and Saluki lapel pin.
