JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A 69-year-old Mt. Vernon woman has been arrested for child pornography.
Pamela Hiatt was arrested Friday, May 19 at her home on Warren Avenue. According to court records, she’s been charged with one count of reproducing/selling child pornography.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says their investigation began on April 26 after they received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Hiatt’s home was searched and the sheriff’s office says evidence of a crime was found.
Pamela Hiatt was taken to the Jefferson County Jail. She posted bond and was released the same day.
