FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Southern Illinois men’s basketball is set to compete in the 16th annual Cancun Challenge November 21-22, 2023, at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico.
The Salukis will faceoff with James Madison at 5 p.m. CT on November 21 in the opening round before taking on either Fresno State or New Mexico State the following day. Both games are set to air nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Southern will host a school yet to be announced in Carbondale as part of the Cancun Challenge on November 16. Details will be announced when finalized.
