Phony bomb threat made at Marion’s ReaderLink

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – No explosives were found after a bomb threat was made at ReaderLink in Marion.

Marion Police say a ReaderLink employee found a note that claimed at 1:39 p.m., a bomb would go off in the returns section of the building. ReaderLink was evacuated and the building was searched.  No bomb was found and nothing happened at 1:39 p.m. ReaderLink then resumed normal operations.

Police have not announced any arrests, saying their investigation is ongoing.
