WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – The search continues Monday for a missing Williamson County senior citizen.
Janet Borowitz, 81, walked away from her rural Williamson County home, located at 5031 Bald Eagle Lane in Carbondale, Saturday morning. Over a dozen area police and fire departments have joined the search over the weekend.
Janet Borowitz stands about 5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white long-sleeve shirt and black pants. Borowitz has dementia and is likely confused or disoriented.
Anyone with any possible information is urged to contact law enforcement.
