Washington County woman charged with threatening schools, children

NASHVILLE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Nashville, Illinois woman is facing a fourteen count federal indictment, accused of using internet chatrooms to make threats against children and schools all across the country.

Prosecutors say on at least 14 separate occasions, Alexia Willie, 47, threatened to walk into schools or public restrooms to shoot or sexually abuse children.  Willie allegedly made the threatening statements while on video in online chatrooms with victims across the country.

A trial is currently scheduled to start January 16, 2024.
