Hurst man drives through neighbor’s yards, damages property

HURST, Ill. (WJPF) – A Hurst man was arrested after police say he drove through people’s yards, causing significant damage to their property.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to the 100 block of North Wilson Street in Hurst around 4:30 p.m. January 7.  The property owner told police that Ricky Cooper, 39, had driven through his yard, causing significant damage.  While police were speaking with the property owner, Cooper drove by and was identified by the property owner. 

 At the time of his arrest on January 7, Ricky Cooper was found in possession of methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, cannabis, and drug paraphernalia.
