Saline County woman facing meth trafficking charges

THOMPSONVILLE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Saline County woman has been arrested in Franklin County on charges of meth trafficking.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says Dorothy Murphy, 54, of Raleigh, was arrested last Thursday, March 7, following a traffic stop on Route 34 in rural Thompsonville. Deputies found two plastic baggies of meth in the car.

Dorothy Murphy was arrested on charges including possession with the intent to deliver between 100 and 400 grams of methamphetamine.
