(IRN) – U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly is entering the race to become Illinois’ next senator.
Kelly, who was elected to Congress in 2013, is the second Democrat to announce their candidacy to replace Dick Durbin, who announced that he will not seek reelection in 2026.
Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton announced her candidacy the day after Durbin’s announcement.
