JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A fatal traffic accident is under investigation in Jackson County.
The head-on crash happened around 10:00 am Wednesday on State Route 127, near the intersection with Geothermal Lane.
One person died at the scene, another person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The names of the victims have not been released.
