PERRYVILLE, Mo. (WJPF) – Federal authorities are investigating the death of a worker at Gilster-Mary Lee’s cereal plant in Perryville, Missouri.
Perryville Police say Nicolas Gomez, 38, became stuck in an industrial oven Thursday afternoon and died at the scene.
During the investigation, authorities discovered that Gomez was a Guatemalan national, working at Gilster’s under the alias of Edward Avila
OSHA is now handling the investigation.
