The Harrisburg Bulldogs are honoring one of their coaching legends in a big way. Over the weekend, it was revealed that Randy Smithpeters is being honored by the Bulldogs by naming their court after him.
The court inside Davenport Gymnasium will now be known as Coach Randy Smithpeters Court.
Smithpeters had a career record of 517-321 while head coach of the Bulldogs’ boys basketball team from 1993 to 2022.
He led the Bulldogs to a state championship in the 2012-13 season. Additionally, Smithpeters had four River-to-River championships, four Sweet 16 appearances, four Eldorado Holiday Tournament titles, and 10 Carmi-White County tournament championships.
